I visited Lysebotn a weekend in march 2017. I've always loved this place and fjord with it's spectacular mountain sides. Makes me think of Ansel Adams words: A large granit wall cannot be ignored, it speaks to the very core of my being. #Landscape
I keep returning to this beautiful and spectacular place, and this easter I spent two days here with my camera, and my son Aleksander with his camera. Still this place get's me into this mood of amazement.
In this work, as so often, I do not try to express a realistic reproduction of this place. I'm trying to express a sence of mystic and unspeakable reality which emerges when I'm there, as well as from the transactional process between the visual expression of the photogr
This weekend I had a photosession with Karina from Sandnes who is working her way twoards becoming a member of "suicide girls". This is a lifestyle brand that is working with redefining beauty with a unique portfolio of girls and a active, smart online community. She needs more photographies to add to her portfolio before becoming a member of this community, and hopefully she will have some more photographies to add to her portfolio after this photosession. Karina was like a
Love the quote "Be still like a mountain, and flow like a river" from Lao Tse Tung.
Maybe someday I'll be able to live by it more than I do ...

The 3. May I had planned a walk to the beautiful waterfall Månafossen. It's about 15 years since I last visit this waterfall. It's this regions (Rogaland) highest free fall waterfall with it's 90 meters. At this time of year there is lot of water in it coming from the melting snow higher up in the mountains making it truly a beatiful and powerful sight. I also visited some of the surrouding areas and the valley of Hunnedalen. I've spent quite some time in Hunnedalen in my you
I have quality prints of the fjord of Sognefjorden and Næryfjorden for sale. Nærøyfjorden is a narrow fjord which is about 17 kilometer long, and it is a branch of the lagre Sognefjorden. Mountains reaches as high as 1760 meters above the fjord which is only 500meters wide at it's narrowest. A truly spectacular scenery.
The fjord of Nærøyfjord in Norway is also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. I currently have 5 prints for sale from this beautiful place in my websh
This weekend I had my second visit to the spectacular fjord of Nærøyfjorden in my kayak. This time I wanted to visit the fjord while the surrounding mountains was encapsulated with snow. I thought that would be perfect for black and white photography ... and it was :) I had to reschedule two times due to the fjord was frozen and covered with ice, but fortunately the weather have been mild these last days and all the ice on the fjord has melted. So this weekend everything was
I had a great day with my dog Cara and my Camera at Holsnanuten yesterday. The weather forecast was quite good: cloudy, strong wind but no rain. And that was pretty much the case although there were a few rain showers. My destination was a waterfall I've passed when hiking in this area some years ago, but without a camera. It had such an impact on me when I saw it. So beautiful. Stunningly beautiful. The map show no name for it and you can hardly see any waterfall except a na
It's early in the morning and I'm just about to take off to the Moutain of Nordre Holsnanuten in Etne, Norway. My goal is a beautiful waterfall which comes down from this mountain along with an amazing view in the valley below. If I'm lucky there will be no fog, and I'm hoping for some great autumn colors too. Autumn colors may in fact have a great visual impact in black and white photography too. Stay tuned for some photograhs later on.
If you're curios about the area ther
